The School of Computer and Communication Engineering (SCCE), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) with the collaboration of Elvira System Sdn. Bhd and IEEE UniMAP Student will be organizing “THINK BIG WITH CODE: INTRODUCTION TO MICRO: BIT 2017”. This program is aimed to create a fun and engaging platform where children/students not only learn to program but also have opportunities to be creative using code. The details of the program are as follows:

Venue : Lab MKM6, School of Mechatronic Engineering, Main Campus Pauh Putra.
Fees : RM50/participants (early bird for the first 20 participants)
RM80 for normal price

The SCCE and Elvira Sdn. Bhd. are at the front of this initiative to inspire a new generation to get creative with coding, programming, and digital technology. The Micro:bit also allows children to get creative with technology and has the potential to inspire and motivate a new generation of computer scientist and engineer. This program is targeting at providing coding/programming skills using Micro:bit to secondary and primary schools students aged between 10 and 17 years old. Primary school students under the age of 10 are also encouraged to join this program with the supervision of their parents.
